Change the Number of Blog Posts Displayed
WordPress allows you to control how many blog posts are shown on your blog archive. If you’re using a Posts Block on a page, you can also choose a different number of posts for that specific block.
Change the Default Blog Archive
To change the number of posts shown on your main blog page:
Step 1: Go to Settings → Reading.
Step 2: Locate Blog pages show at most.
Step 3: Enter the number of posts you’d like to display.
Most websites look best with 4–12 posts per page, depending on your layout.
Step 4: Click Save Changes.
Change the Number of Posts in a Posts Block
If you’re displaying blog posts using a Posts Block on a page (such as your homepage or a category page), you can set a different number of posts for that block.
Step 1: Edit the page containing the Posts Block.
Step 2: Click the Posts Block.
Step 3: In the settings panel on the right, adjust the Number of Posts to display.
Step 4: Update your page.
This only changes the selected Posts Block and will not affect your main blog archive.

Helpful tip:
The number of posts you display should complement your layout. For example, a three-column grid usually looks best with 6, 9, or 12 posts, while a two-column layout often works well with 4, 6, or 8 posts. Choosing a number that completes the final row creates a cleaner, more balanced appearance.
