Change Your Site Icon (Favicon)

A Site Icon, also known as a favicon, is the small image that appears in your browser tab next to your website name. It helps visitors quickly recognize your website.

Step 1: From your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance → Customize → Site Identity.

Step 2: Under Site Icon, click Select Site Icon.

Step 3: Choose a favicon from your Media Library or upload a new image.

Step 4: If you already have a site icon, click Change Image to replace it.

Helpful Tip: For the best results, use a square image. WordPress recommends a 512 × 512 pixel PNG or JPG.
