Change Your Page or Post Layout
Kadence allows you to choose the layout for your pages and posts. You can set a default layout for your entire website or choose a different layout for individual pages & Posts
The available layouts include:
- Normal
- Narrow
- Full Width
- Left Sidebar
- Right Sidebar
Change the Default Page Layout
To change the layout for all new pages:
Step 1: Go to Appearance → Customize.
Step 2: Navigate to Posts/Pages Layout → Page Layout.
Step 3: Under Default Page Layout, select your preferred layout.
Change the Default Post Layout
To change the layout for all blog posts:
Step 1: Go to Appearance → Customize.
Step 2: Navigate to Posts/Pages Layout → Single Post Layout.
Step 3: Under Default Post Layout, select your preferred layout.
Change Archive & Search Layouts
Kadence also allows you to customize the layout for your archive and search pages.
- Archive Pages: Appearance → Customize → Posts/Pages Layout → Archive Layout
- Search Results: Appearance → Customize → Search Results
- 404 Page: Appearance → Customize → General → 404 Page Layout
Choose the layout that best fits your website.
Change the Layout for a Single Page/Post
If you’d like one page to use a different layout than the rest of your website:
Step 1: Go to Pages → All Pages → Click edit on the page/post you want to adjust
Step 2: Click the Page Settings icon at the top of the editor.
Step 3: Under Page Layout, select the layout you’d like to use.
Step 4: Update your page to save the changes.
