Change Your Theme Colors

Your Hello You Designs theme uses a global color palette to keep your website looking consistent. Updating your colors in one place allows those changes to appear throughout your website.

Step 1: From your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance → Customize → Colors & Fonts.

Step 2: Click the color you’d like to update.

Step 3: Choose a new color using the color picker or enter a hex color code.

Step 4: Repeat for any additional colors you’d like to change.

Step 5: Click Publish to save your changes.

Helpful Tip: You’ll see your changes instantly in the preview, making it easy to experiment before publishing

When Should I Change Individual Colors?

Most of the time, you only need to update your Global Colors.

Some blocks also include their own color settings for backgrounds, buttons, or text.

Use these only when you’d like a section to look different from the rest of your website.

Helpful Tip: Changing a block’s individual colors won’t affect the rest of your website.
