Custom Blog is not displaying

If your Custom Blog page is showing a plain blog archive instead of the designed layout from your theme, it usually means the wrong page has been selected in your WordPress Reading settings.

Fix Your Blog Settings

Step 1: From your WordPress dashboard, go to Settings → Reading.

Step 2: Next to Your homepage displays, make sure A static page is selected.

Step 3: In the Posts page dropdown, select your standard Blog page.

Step 4: Do not select your Custom Blog, Journal, or The Blog page as the Posts page.

Step 5: Save your changes.

Helpful Tip

Your Custom Blog is a fully editable page designed with the block editor. Your standard Blog page is WordPress’s default blog archive and should be selected as the Posts page in Settings → Reading.
