Forms Don’t Match the Demo

Every email marketing provider (Kit, Mailchimp, Flodesk, MailerLite, ConvertKit, etc.) creates forms differently. Because of this, there isn’t one universal setup process.

To make your form look like the theme demo, you’ll need to style it within your email provider before adding it to your website.

Match the Demo Style

When creating your form, try to match these settings from the demo:

  • Use the same number of input fields.
  • Choose the same layout (inline or stacked).
  • Use a similar button style and size.
  • Remove any extra headings, descriptions, or images that aren’t shown in the demo.

Embed the Form

Whenever possible, use your provider’s HTML embed code instead of the JavaScript embed.

HTML embeds are generally easier to style and more closely match the theme’s design.

Helpful Tip: If your form looks different than the demo, it’s usually because the form is styled by your email provider—not the WordPress theme. Simply adjusting the form settings in your email provider will usually solve the issue.
