Mobile Menu Is Showing Demo Links

If your mobile menu is still showing the demo links, it’s usually because your Mobile Navigation is using a different menu than your desktop navigation.

Kadence allows you to assign separate menus for desktop and mobile.

Update Your Mobile Menu

Step 1: From your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance → Menus.

Step 2: Open the Menu Locations tab.

Step 3: Locate the Mobile Navigation menu location.

Step 4: Select the menu you’d like to display on mobile.

Step 5: Click Save Changes.

Check Your Mobile Menu

After assigning your menu, view your website on a phone or use the mobile preview in the Customizer to confirm the correct menu is displaying.

Helpful Tip: Updating your Primary Navigation menu does not automatically update your Mobile Navigation. If your mobile menu still shows the demo links, make sure the correct menu has been assigned to the Mobile Navigation location.

Not every Hello You Designs theme uses a separate mobile menu. If your theme doesn’t include a Mobile Navigation location, your mobile menu will automatically use the Primary Navigation menu.
